Now who the hell are we!?! The Citizins, on the surface would appear to be a clothing brand. Which, we are of course! That’s not to be mistaken. However, our agenda and our goals as a business is so much more than that. Starting with the company’s name itself. Owned and operated in the United States of America, out of the great state of Arizona, we’re a brand that is founded by the people, and for the people. For The Citizins! We aspire to produce quality, fashionable materials and clothing that will last you and your family for years to come and are as durable and vibrant as the people that built this great country. However, we’re also devoting a significant portion of our proceeds to the betterment, and economic growth and development of our communities. Adding assistance and resources in areas of need by contributing to and developing foundations and programs we believe will truly help grow and build our communities. Now, we are still building relationships with certain foundations and are even the process of building one of our own. So, once additional information becomes available, we'll be sure to fill you guys in as soon as possible. And although our community projects and foundation partnerships are of the upmost importance to us, it isn't the only way we're trying to make a difference...

Traditionally, most clothing lines, especially your major corporations, often mass produce most of their products in HUGE numbers for a discount with the intention to resell them. Requiring more emissions and waste for products that are often stored away in warehouses until they are ready for sale or display in their stores. Unfortunately, they often have to dispose of a lot of the materials that they cannot resale. Adding to an already devastating problem. In an attempt to minimize the devastation our industry can have on our planet; we’re doing things differently at The Citizins. We primarily function as a “Dropship Company”. Now you may be asking yourself, “What the hell is a Dropship Company and why does that matter?” Dropshipping is an order fulfillment method where a store doesn’t keep a large number of the products they sell in stock. Instead, the seller purchases inventory as needed from a third party. So, in simple terms, we’re built similar to the fast-food industry. We don’t make it until you order it. The moment you select and buy a product from us, we notify the closest manufacturer in your area to then make and send the product to you directly. Meaning you’re the first person to actually touch and wear the product from the moment that it’s created. Making the items you purchase from us, just that much more personal. But aside from making our products more personal and specifically designed for you, our true and primary goal was to limit the number of emissions and unnecessary waste our industry puts out each and every year. And those numbers can be quite shocking.

Did you know Textiles generate more greenhouse gases per unit of material than almost any other industry (except aluminum)? That’s more than 1.7 billion tons of C02 annually. Not to mention that the fashion industry is responsible for almost 20% of water waste worldwide, and up to 22% of total global waste. With these numbers and many others being brought to our attention, we wanted to do something about it. Which is why we choose the operation methods that we choose. Why we offer organic and more eco-friendly materials for our customers. Why we’re so devoted to the growth and development of the cities that support us. We make them with you, our consumers, our planet, and our futures in mind. From top to bottom, start to finish. We are here for you, the community, but most importantly…we are here for The Citizins! And we’re here to stay! 💪
